Dentures are prosthetic devices constructed to replace missing teeth, and which are supported by surrounding soft and hard tissues of the oral cavity. Conventional dentures are removable; however there are many different denture designs, some which rely on bonding to dental implants.
The dentures can be placed over the implants and can construct a fixed prosthesis for your jaw; a removable over denture may be designed to fit over the implants. While it is removable by you, it can be secured to the abutments by various types of attachments or magnets.
